Evaporator coils and fans should be inspected and cleaned regularly. Watch for frost and ice buildup on coil and compressor return line; these will impede airflow and performance.
Common defrost methods include • Built-in Defrost • Hot Water Spray-down • Off-Time Defrost • Hot Gas Defrost, (hot vapor through coils). If defrosting doesn’t solve the issue, factors such as evaporator disfunction may be a factor.
